Pierre-Antoine Rodesch, PhD, is a research scientist at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) specializing in spectral CT. Trained as an engineer at École nationale des ponts et chaussées, he earned a PhD in applied mathematics for X-ray CT at CEA-Leti in Grenoble. His core expertise spans the spectral CT chain: photon-counting detector calibration and characterization, spectral imaging applications such as material decomposition and tissue characterization, and dose optimization through Monte Carlo simulation and spectral shaping. His current research applies dual-energy CT to the in vivo discrimination of crystal deposits in the knee within a large osteoarthritis cohort.
